Returns & exchanges

We rarely see returns, but if something isn't right, we'll fix it. Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

Returns & exchanges: 30 days

You can return or exchange any item within 30 days of delivery. That includes the wrong color, the wrong adapter for your cooler, or a change of mind.

How to start a return

1. Email support@nerd-roots.com or use the contact form within 30 days of delivery. Include the name and email on your order, the item, and whether you'd like a refund or an exchange.
2. We'll reply with the return address, usually within one business day.
3. Ship the item back. Please use a tracked service, since we can't refund a return that doesn't arrive.

Condition of returned items

Items must be returned unused and in their original condition, with all included hardware (screws, washers and inserts). If an item isn't returned in its original condition, you're responsible for any loss in value.

Return shipping

You pay return shipping, unless the problem is our fault (see below).

Damaged, defective or wrong item

If your part arrives damaged, has a print defect, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 30 days of delivery with a photo. We'll cover it: a free replacement or a full refund, including shipping. If we need the item back, we'll pay for the return shipping.

Refunds

• Refunds go back to your original payment method (card or PayPal) within 5 business days of us receiving your return.
• Your bank or PayPal may take a few more days to show it.
• The original $5.99 shipping charge is refunded only when the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

Want a different color or a different adapter? Email us and we'll set up the swap. You can also return the item for a refund and place a new order, whichever is quicker for you.

Not sure it fits?

Use the fit finder before you order, or send us your miner and cooler models and we'll confirm the right part.

What we can't take back

Coolers, fans, heatsinks and miners aren't sold by NerdRoots, so we can't accept returns for them.

Orders from Etsy or Amazon

Orders placed on Etsy or Amazon follow that marketplace's return process. Start the return there, or message us through the marketplace.
