Description

The GeeekPi Low-Profile Plus socket adapter and radiator fan adapter together. The socket adapter mounts the Low-Profile Plus heatsink to your Bitaxe; the fan adapter takes a Noctua A6x15, A6x25 or similar fan. Both parts are printed at 100% infill for strength and long-term durability. This kit is the two adapters only.

Install

  1. Power down the Bitaxe, remove the stock heatsink and clean the old thermal paste off the ASIC.
  2. Apply fresh thermal paste.
  3. Fasten the adapter to the Bitaxe mounting holes with the included screws and washers, tightening evenly in a cross pattern.
  4. Seat the cooler, then swap its fan onto the fan adapter using the stock clasps.
  5. Plug the fan into the Bitaxe fan header — check the fan’s polarity first.
